Hello, I'm AnitaI was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada. I grew up with my sister and my exuberant single mom as we lost my father to cancer when I was only 6. After completing a Business Degree, I satiated my desire to live in another country and moved to San Francisco. From there, I built a career in brand and product management which sent me to LA before bringing me back to Vancouver.
Although I’ve had fulfilling jobs that have allowed me to travel the world, I always felt something was missing. I have a deep rooted desire to build connections with people and see the possibilities in their lives that they may need help seeing. My passion for supporting people’s growth is driven by my personal experience of supporting my sister to pursue her life goals after her traumatic brain injury in 1996. Through my own experience, I know that the way to overcome obstacles is to start by looking within and to define yourself by a vision of the future rather than a memory of the past. Today, I am a Certified Life Coach. As a coach, I help individuals work through life transitions and post-traumatic growth and move towards creating a fulfilling life. I enjoy building long-term relationships with my clients and supporting them in reaching their goals. Through my own experiences, I have had to constantly shift my thinking, be more mindful, grow and learn to be kind to myself. My experiences have led me to feel passionately about providing guidance for clients to positively respond to challenges and live a full and rewarding life. |
I am a mother of two awesome energetic and loving kids. Parenting, as it turns out, is my greatest challenge yet it delivers incomparable rewards. My husband is my pillar of support and is always by my side through the ups and downs of life. He understands my passion, calls me out when I'm too hard on myself and helps to build upon my strengths.
When we're not on family bike rides or playing a family of superheroes, my personal time is spent baking with the munchkins, reading, blasting reggaeton, zumba dancing, doing yoga, running and planning our next family trip. |
